Garden Hunting

It's been raining almost few days in a week for the past weeks.
Always thought that some nice critters will turn up in our garden but thats not the case :(
Because of the water feature that we have, all that turned up were some pretty active red dragonflies (which I cant seem to find them sitting still for a shoot) and loads of frogs... them being the easy target, i scooped them up from the pool, brought them to the garden, placed them down slowly, let them calm down and stay still before i start shooting. Unfortunately, its getting late, did not have my flash with me, didnt want to waste time running up to get them as the frog may leave and so, opted for the built-in-flash which resulted in some harsh lighting. Nonetheless, i used the frog to practice on photo stacking so i can get both frog's eyes in focus at near 1:1 magnification using a Tamron SP90.

Are these frogs or toads? They look like cane toads, but better looking with nicer patterns. Cane toads were introduced into Australia decades ago to eat cane beetles, but they have become a biological disaster, since they are poisonous and any wildlife that eats them die. Cane toads breed prolifically and are proving very difficult to control.
