Usually, when I go hunting for insects, I end up not getting what I set out to look for and even if I did see something that make me go "Hey! This is it. Finally!", I will somehow not be able to shoot it. Either it's too high up on a tree, conditions are not right to shoot or there are other external factors not enabling me to shoot them.
However, last week, came a surprising visitor in my house. A little long horn beetle. Although not the big giant ones that I see in photo forums, still this was an amazing find and my first.
Also fortunately this lil bugger is very nice to me and stayed still for me to snap up-close pics of it.

Those demolish Lemon Drop shots. Really cool to see the "bugs" up close, but that's close enough for this girl....
