Japan June29-July5 2011

It was a company trip with the sole purpose of market research, to see what is in trend and how the Japanese markets their products to their consumers. Majority of the time in Japan was for work but there too was time for some fun. So, I will focus on the fun part, at least it was fun for me :)
So, June 29 night, we boarded Malaysia Airlines en route to Narita Airport Japan.
Other than myself, Danbo was the first of our group of 8 to witness the sunrise from above the Land of the Rising Sun - JAPAN

First things first, I am in Japan with one target. To find something for my B. Danbo lend a hand in directions. Good Good!!!
Found it. Burberry Blue Label. Burberry is basically everywhere but Blue Label, only in Japan. Thus, I bought a wallet for my B. YES! hahaha :)
And, it's my habit to actually try McD of different countries that I go to. Looks the same though for the breakfast set. Didnt get to try the normal sets :(
Time for expensive stuff in Japan... aka... FOOD.
Round standard watermelon, 5000yen = RM120
Square watermelon, 15000yen = RM370
Our famous CHAR SIEW PAO... in Malaysia, RM1.50 each
In JAPAN its 420yen = RM15 each
Also, if you are hungry, fret not... they have this bugger burger to keep you full for one whole week. A whopping 5 decker. And, its 1,400yen = RM60
So, the fun part, 8 guys and 1 toy, went up to Fuji in summer.
Its still quite cooling up here, if you compare it to Tokyo itself, ranging at 39'c every day :(

A snowless Mt Fuji in summer
Also, there is Disney Sea, the only theme park under the Disney name that is not DISNEY LAND. and also, only in Japan. So, worth a try to see see look look.

TITANIC... where is my Rose? hmmm

This place is actually more of a place for photographers. The setup is nothing as childish as Disneyland but the rides, same, kiddish. The setup here is spectacularly beautiful. They even have a live size ship in this theme park. The one where I was looking for my Rose as pictured above.

This trip is super tiring. 2 days of fun for us guys but for the rest, its work and work in Japan equals walking a lot. Everyday, we wake and leave at 8am, walking all the way only returning to the hotel around 10pm and from that time span out, we only stopped at a maximum 1.5 hours for lunch. Dinner is usually after 10. So, the rest of the time, its WALKING... hohohohoho
