September 5th, I flew to Hong Kong and September 7th, from Hong Kong to Taipei Taiwan and then back to KL on September 13th.
I'm going there on business though, distributors meeting for CK socks, then I will also meet up with I.S.T staffs to discuss on 2(X)ist plans and finally, my 3 days extension to explore Taipei.
Skipping to the extension days since there is nothing much about the meeting other than all of them agreeing that the next CK socks meeting will be held in Malaysia and I am put in the hot soup to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Also, from a supposedly 1 day meeting, they changed it to a 2 days meeting, meaning there is more for me to plan. :(
First off, we (Eddie, ChanTM, Dad and I) actually flew to Hong Kong for a 2 days stopover before flying to Taipei. Of cause, I have with me, my trusty companion Danbo. This time round, he looks more like a tourist that when he went to Japan :) he now has a DSLR, just like me :)
The few places worth mentioning in Hong Kong is firstly of cause "Lei Yu Mun". A place to get the freshest seafood. YUMMY!!!!!
Then next will be Causeway Bay if Im not mistaken. This is Time Square in HK.
2 days in HK is basically, eat eat eat. So, next stop, Taipei Taiwan. Danbo taking a last look at HK before setting to the skies for Taipei.
Like I said, meeting aside, coz there is nothing special, there is this place where the 2(X)ist boss took us to. Its a small cafe, with in-house singer. The interior is filled with antiques and well, its just a very relaxing place to sit in and have their specialty which is fruit tea and home made pizza.
Next, Taipei 101. A building I know 100% wasnt there when I last came. LOL. Again, nothing spectacular, just a very tall building with very expensive brands inside.
I ventured here alone, the Chang Kai Shek Memorial Hall. This, I have memory of. I remember seeing a picture that I took here when I was young. I remember this place pretty clearly from the back of my head and reaching here again, I really feel somewhat happy. Although I was alone this time, I spent a lot of time walking this square, looking at all the fine details of the buildings, and just sat there on the steps, enjoying the win and sunshine.
An art piece drawn on the walls along the Taipei Art Museum.
This time around, I also managed to photograph my first ever sunset shot. It was taken in Danshui area. Its a jetty, a tourist destination and also a place where lovers come to enjoy the wind and sunset.
The shots were never possible done handheld and I did not bring my tripod. Fortunately enough, a nice uncle came up to me and offered me his tripod. He even gave me tips on how I should take the picture and the settings that I should use. GOOD!!! Above is my setting and below is his settings. So much difference. LOL
Being in Taipei, I did a research and it is a must to go to JiuFen. Its a really beautiful place. Nice scenery, nice food and nice people everywhere :)
Even Danbo cannot miss not taking a picture here. Danbo cant take for me though. :(
Danbo and friends...

Overall, this trip was a nice one for me. Mainly because its been a long long time since I came to Taiwan and the feeling I had sitting in the memorial hall is really nice. Then I also enjoyed walking in places like Danshui and Jiufen. Of coz there are other things that made this trip quite memorable, in a funny way.
Maybe next time, my trip here will be during the colder months of the year. Its pretty darn hot when I came.
